A standard balance corrects weight distribution – but it can’t detect a tyre or wheel that simply won’t roll smoothly. That’s why Manukau Auto & Tyre Centre uses the Hunter Road Force® balancer: the world’s fastest diagnostic wheel balancer, designed to hunt down and cure vibration problems that ordinary balancers miss.
Bringing Back the “New Car Ride”
The Road Force® balancer uses a diagnostic load roller that presses against the tyre with up to the equivalent force of the road, then spins the assembly to simulate real driving. This measures the combined effect of the tyre and wheel together – something a conventional spin balance cannot do.
If a vibration is found, the machine tells us exactly how to rotate the tyre on the rim to cancel it out – a process called ForceMatch® – restoring a smooth, quiet, comfortable ride.
